My last blog post has been a while and also has advanced Sternkieker not quite. This is due to the Hamburg-election. As Electoral Officer in a polling station in Hamburg I had several appointments (training, last instruction and the recruitment of members of my team, that information, etc.) to perform. Then came the long election Sunday and the counting of the four ballot issues on the following days. Have paper and a lot of computation came towards us. But we have completed well and on time.
So I was with some of their own contributions to the Sternkieker behind. So had the astronomical preview - one of the most important elements of each amateur astronomy magazine - are not written by me in parts. A book is read too late, that his meeting with the issue still occurs and many articles is also now an even more. And just today I was able to the event calendar for the 2nd Quarter of 2011 finish.
Time is running along with a little, but the magazine is created by the way, so to speak, as a hobby. As a hobby that much, especially Work brings with it the now and then must go to rest by force. For example, due to the proofreader working for an astronomical journal. A significant activity, which is also well rewarded. This proofreading is generally a very strenuous work that is done only on the computer. For this I mostly use my little netbook, making reading in itself a bit more strenuous, than a larger laptop with a larger screen. This can be understood this task and also lying in bed, do the train or in a café, especially since the battery lasts a good 8 hours.
But back to Sternkieker. The schedule is now only once to fill the magazine with all these texts. I hope to do tomorrow Sunday a part of this task. Perhaps it springs from another blog. We'll see.
